On November 8, 2023, Cheng Sipeng, General Manager; Ling Jianxin, Factory Director; Li Yihui, Head of Design Department; Zhang Jie, Deputy Head of Design Department; and Hu Xian, Assistant to the General Manager, of Shanghai Zhaoli Metal Products Co., Ltd., visited Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. In the morning, they received a warm welcome from Manager Inoue Satoshi, Chief Technician Tanaka, Chief Technician Imoto, and others.
Under the enthusiastic guidance of Mr. Bandou and Mr. Zhang, the Shanghai Zhaoli team visited and learned from the Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. factory. They were very pleased to see the completed Ship No. 414 and the partially completed Ship No. 415.
In the afternoon, members of Sumitomo's design department and Shanghai Zhaoli's design department engaged in mutual discussions and learning.
In the evening, a welcome banquet was held for the Shanghai Zhaoli team by Mr. Makino, General Manager of the Manufacturing Division; Mr. Kataoka, Manager; Mr. Nakajima; Mr. Takayanagi; Mr. Zhang; and others.
This visit further strengthened the close ties and cooperation between us and Sumitomo Heavy Industries Marine Engineering Co., Ltd.
